Simply barking a wonderful Christmas time! *bounces and tail wags*

We went over to see Grandma today! That's my favorite. She had a house full of good smells and I got a bowl with some potatoes and green beans.

Today I had a bad case of the itchies. NOT my favorite.
Mom took me for a car ride. *tail wags*
We went to Petsmart and I got to sniff noses with other dogs! MY FAVORITE
Then we went to the cash register and I got a cookies. MY FAVORITE
After we came home, Mom put Frontline on me and I don't have the itchies! *bounces and romps like a wild thing*
She even gave me a cookie for sitting still while she put stuff on me woo hoooooooo!

I haz an ouwie. It's on my tush. Mommy says we're going to see the vet tomorrow. I like them. They give me cookies. I don't like the pills they give Mommy to mix into my food. *sigh*

Mom's had some ups and downs with her health this year. I guess that is why I've not had much to bark about. I spend most of my days worrying about her.

Yesterday was the worst. It started out on Wednesday night with Dad and Mom going out but only Dad came home! I tried to get him to take me to find her. He told me to relax. How could I do that when I'm supposed to take care of Mom?

Yesterday I spent the day with the younger human and she kept an eye on me when we went outside. I think she knew of my plans to go find Mom. Dad came home from work and he took me outside. After I downloaded a fresh stink bomb (hey, a dog's gotta do what a dog's gotta do), he put my leash on me and we got in the car.

Dad drove me to a new place that had lots of strange smells. One very familiar smell was there. Mom! I was very happy to find her. We brought Mom home from this place called a clinic and she took a shower. I wanted to supervise, but the bathroom is too small for me to lie down and watch her so I kept an eye on the closed door instead. After her shower, Mom and Dad sat down and had supper. It smelled yummy and Mom let me have a bit of broth on my kibble. *tail wags*

We went to bed early. This morning, Mom got up not feeling well so I've been keeping a close watch on her. I don't need her to disappear like she did. Especially since Dad is getting ready to go sell more rattan.

We had a good 13 years together, darling little Diva. I already miss you so much. Be a good girl and don't take over paradise.

She spent her last days holding down the heat vent and not eating. She had asthma and other health complaints. Our vet helped her have a peaceful crossing over the rainbow bridge at 11am.

I have a new toy and it's my favorite!!!!!!!!!!

Mommy and I have been very busy lately. There's a lot of cleaning going on and leaf raking. Mom says we need to get the yard and the house ready for winter. Grandpa B has come by and reglazed the windows along with painting them. I'm not sure what all that means, but he talks to me while I'm supervising and he likes to watch me run around the yard.

Today one of the ladies from church came by the house. Every other week, Miss R visits me. Mommy thinks she's coming to borrow the computer for work. I know better. Yesterday Miss R wasn't in church and it was the first Sunday of Advent. She'd signed up to make a wreath, so Mommy and I made one for her.

Today, We gave her the wreath we made and she sure was happy. I like it when I make people happy. They bounce like I do and give me ear scratches.

Mom says she needs to inventory my toys and do some repairs on them. I better go watch her and make sure she gets everything fixed up right.

Mom's not been feeling well, so I've been offline taking care of her. She decided I needed time off for good behavior so tonight I get the computer while she has pumpkin ice cream. I hope she saves some for me.

When last I was here, things were busy at the house. My uncle moved in then he moved to another house to sit for the summer, now he's back with us. He tries but he doesn't fully understand that as an ESA, I'm specially trained to help people deal with depression.

He had a very bad week(tm) at work and really needed cuddles tonight. Silly human thought I was wanting to play when I brought him my bestest toy ever and tried to curl up next to him on the sofa. Eventually Mom explained to him that I was crowding him to make him sit and stay. Once he was seated, I put the toy next to him and began to do my job. He actually laughed at something a little while ago, so I think he's feeling better.

Can anyone explain to me why human managers or bosses lie to other humans and make them feel angry and sad all at once?

My tushie hurts.

Mom said it's because I tried to lower it in her rose bush. She says I have a cut there. She's cleaned me twice with warm compresses.
I wish she'd let me take care of it myself.

I heard her telling Daddy that I would be seeing the vet tomorrow. *tail wags* I hope they give me lots of cookies

Mom doesn't love me. She gave me a bath!
I had to run around the house and rub my face on the throw rugs and Daddy's chair so I'd smell like the pack.

I've been having a puppy pout in front of the t.v. but Mom won't take a hint and turn it on for me.

It's been a rough day. *snorts*

Mom's not let me write in forever. *snorts* There's not been much new around here, other than the neighbor's lab puppy. He's very interested in playing. I wish Mom would finish cleaning our fence line so I can see more of him.

My youngest human brought home lunch today and we wanted them to share their french fries.

SQUIRREL!!!!!!!!

Mom made sweet potatoes that were twice baked. MY FAVORITE!!!! See, she was mashing them for the second time to be baked and some flew out of the bowl. I caught it in the air, then kept careful watch for more escapees. nomnomnomnom.

I had green beans, peas, potatoes and other veggies last week. I'm not sure why we all went to gramma's house, but I had fun. I licked my bowl clean, even got the memory of the smell cleaned out of my bowl according to Dad. *tail wags*

I recently mentioned a lady at church who is sad because her children are so far away from her. They raised enough money. Mom said other parishes in the diocese and some private individuals made donations, and the children will be here on the 4th of this month! *barks*
We gave their mother some warm winter hats, mittens and a coat for one of the children because they are coming from equitorial Africa to here. Mom says it's a lot warmer where they are right now and they need winter coats when they arrive here.

After mass today, Mom and I sat in the parish hall during coffee hour. A very nice lady from Liberia sat with us. She was very sad. Mom asked her how she was doing and she replied; "I am surviving."

Mr. Sworh came here first, he managed to raise enough money to bring his wife over before her visa expired. The parish has been trying to help them raise the air fare for their three children.

Jack is two years old and a very naughty boy. He took to clawing everyone and everything in the house. Mom used sprays, super soakers, and noise to get him to stop. He just kept on clawing things up.
